The Supporting Documents screen provides an array of documentation to help you set up and manage accounts.
The documents are listed in separate panels organized by function:
§ New Sign-up Forms: The listed forms help you to gather the information needed to set up clients, vendors, customers, and products or services and upload a digital signature to use with client accounts. In addition, the section provides a brochure with information for clients interested in using the accounting system and Client Accounting Services module, and a sample letter to use to introduce clients to your complete accounting services.
§ Chart of Accounts: The Chart of Accounts spreadsheet provides information about the 30 industry-standard charts of accounts included with the system. Use this spreadsheet when you start a new client to review the account structure for each line of business represented. You can also save the spreadsheet to use as a template, enabling you to create client-specific charts of accounts to import.
§ Upload Documents: Provides a link from which you can easily upload bills, invoices, receipts, or vendor Forms W-9 to the system from any device.
§ Special Guidelines: Provides in-depth guides related to specific features and services such as a detailed guide to help you set up and prepare financial statements, a guide to help you set up and use the Bank Feeds feature, and comprehensive guides to help you offer bill payment and invoicing services to your clients.
