Review the Check Register

You can view and edit system-generated checks, handwritten checks, and cash payments for any bank account and period from the Check Register tab of the Registers screen.

To view or edit checks or cash payments:

1.  Select Cash/Check Registers from the Banking menu to open the Registers screen, and select the Check Register tab.

2.  In the Selection Criteria panel, select the cash account and period to view, and select the Include Cash option to display cash payments with checks.

3.  Click View to view the specified records.

4.  Click the number in the Number column to open the Enter Check screen allowing you to edit the check or cash payment.

From the Enter Check screen, modify the check or cash payment and click Save.

5.  Click the entry in the Account column to review details for split transactions.

The Expense Accounts dialog appears. Review the information and click Cancel to close it.

6.  Click Add to enter new checks or cash payments.

The Enter Check screen appears, enabling you to enter new checks or cash payments.
