The CFO Dashboard screen provides a table displaying key account information for your clients, both active and terminated. From the table, you can view overall information about the clients in your practice, including financial information and whether you have provided client-side access to the system for specific clients. You can review data for multiple clients, identifying clients that require attention from the entries on the screen. You can display information for all clients at once, or limit the display to clients with alerts.
Columns on the CFO Dashboard screen are listed below with description provided when needed:
Client Name
Client Code
Access -indicates whether or not a client whom you have signed up for the optional Client Accounting Services (CAS) add-on has permission to access the system
Cash Balance
Accts Rec - accounts receivable
Accts Pay - accounts payable
Suspense - suspense account balance
Check Amount
Year End - date of the end of the last active year
Current Period - the end date of the current period
Client Login - indicates the last date the client logged in (for clients with access to the CAS add-on)
In addition to financial and client information, the CFO Dashboard indicates which terminated clients will be purged, and when. Terminated clients that are about to be purged are listed in red, and the date of the purge appears beneath the list.
To review the CFO Dashboard screen:
Go to Client Center>CFO Dashboard if you are not already on the screen. By default, all your clients with alerts appear in the table.
To see all your clients (including those with alerts), leave the Filter field blank, select All Clients from the drop-down list, and click Search.
To limit the display of clients, use the Filter field as you would any search option. For example, you can type a few letters of a client name or code to see only clients with those letters in their name or code. You can apply the filter to All Clients or Clients with Alerts by selecting the appropriate one of these from the drop-down list. Then, click Search.
The list changes to display the requested records.
Click the name of a client in the Client Name column to make that client the active client.
The name of the active client appears at the top portion of the screen.
Click Excel to export the information from the CFO Dashboard screen to an Excel spreadsheet if desired.
The full list is exported and you are prompted to open or save the Excel spreadsheet.
