Export Transactions

The Export Transactions utility lets you save all transactions for open years to an Excel spreadsheet file, allowing you to analyze your data off line and create your own custom transaction reports.

Exporting also provides you with a local backup of your client's data.

To export transactions:

1.  Select Export from the Integration menu to open the Export screen.

2.  Specify the whether you want to export Monthly, Quarterly, or Yearly data in the Export By field and use the drop-down list in the Period field to specify the period you want to export.

3.  Click Excel to generate the file.

You are prompted to open or save the file,

4.  Click Save and specify the filename and location to which to save the file.

The Excel file opens, displaying the specified transactions. Transactions are automatically sorted within the file by journal and date.

Note: Adjusting entries are not exported.
