View Customer Transactions

You can view sales transactions for any customer for a specified date range from the Customer Transactions screen, available from the Customer Center.

To view transactions:

1.  Select Customer Center from the Sales menu to open the Customer Center screen, and select the Customer Transactions tab.

2.  Enter the customer's name in the Enter Customer field and select the customer from the drop-down list.

3.  Use the From and To fields to specify the date range of the transactions you want to view.

4.  Select the transaction type you want to view from the drop-down list in the Type field.

You can select Invoice, Credit Memo, Payment, or All.

5.  Click View to display the data you specified in the table.

The table displays all of the transactions that meet the criteria you entered, with columns identifying the Date of the transactions, the Reference number of the transaction, the Type of transaction (invoice, payment, or credit memo), an Account Description, and the Amount.

Invoice amounts are listed as positive numbers, while credit memo and payment amounts are listed as negative numbers. The total number of transactions and the total amount are listed in the appropriate fields at the bottom of the screen.

6.  Click Excel to export the information in the table to an Excel spreadsheet for further review and analysis.
