Accounting Power® is a cloud-based application that lets accountants and clients collaborate online, with a full-featured Client Accounting Services (CAS) module for clients, and a comprehensive Write-Up and Trial Balance system for your firm.
The system enables both accountants and clients to enter invoices, checks, and transactions online using a secure, password-protected interface. Clients can enter transactions and perform Client Accounting Services tasks, and then, using the same data, accountants can perform write-up and trial balance tasks, and prepare financial statements using the same unified system.
Configurable permissions let you customize the system to suit the individual needs and abilities of clients with different levels of accounting experience. Easily set-up client accounts, bank information, and vendor and customer information eliminate client error, ensuring that the transactions clients enter are written to the correct accounts behind the scenes.
Certain functions, such as customizing financial statements and closing years, can be accessed only by accountants.
Versatile reports and customizable financial statements let you view the activity in your trial balance and in your disbursements, receipts, payroll, and general journals. The system provides complete accounts payable and receivable modules, and integrates with other AccountantsWorld solutions and external packages such as QuickBooks, Peachtree, CS Accounting, and Microsoft Excel. Because you can view your client's transactions and account balances in real time, you can more effectively monitor their income and expenses. Client data is stored securely on state-of-the-art servers that are backed up regularly, so there is virtually no chance of data loss or system failure.
The system is organized intuitively, with easy-to-understand menus and modules and a variety of useful features available from the Global toolbar at the top of the interface. Your firm name and logo appear at the top of the screen so that your clients see the system branded as your own service. The name of the active client you are working on appears also appears in the header.
